Greased (cow) leather is a type of leather in which the leather is treated with natural oil or wax and has thereby a particular greasy and waxy surface. The colour of the leather is not applied with a coating but deeply impregnated, in a way that the structure of the leather is clearly visible.

Fat leather is a natural product. Each piece is unique and therefore not always the same compared to another piece. Sometimes some irregularities can be seen. Cow leather is not 100% identical. This means that the cutting lines can not always be straight.
