Een karabiner heeft een scharnierende sluiting, in tegenstelling tot de schuivende sluiting van musketonhaken. Door het scharnierende deel van de karabiner naar binnen te duwen kan het product worden geopend. Dit product is voor eenvoudig en veelzijdig gebruik met touw tot een bepaalde diameter*. De haak kan gebruikt worden bij sportactiviteiten**, het verbinden van twee onderdelen, in de bouw, tijdens vakanties of voor het bevestigen van de hondenlijn aan de halsband.

How a carabiner works
